New Brunswick Potato Conference

To be held on February 11, 2010 at the E.P. Sénéchal Centre, Grand Falls, NB.

New Brunswick Potato Conference & Trade ShowThis key event has become the biggest and best gathering of NB potato growers and interested stakeholders. Our Potato Conference attracts over 200 people.

The conference provides an excellent forum for information exchange on the latest and greatest happenings in the industry.  Every year, the focus is on delivering useful information that will help both individual growers and our industry as a whole.

The core of our conference is focused on topics of interest to New Brunswick potato farmers.  Our program features a wide range of interesting topics, presented by local and guest potato industry scientists and other experts.

These people share their expertise and present results from their research and other industry activities.  The programs usually touches on work being done in the areas of nitrogen, phosphorous management, disease, insect and weed management, variety evaluations, soil and crop management, innovative technology, post harvest testing, and greensprouting and others.

Other experts speak on timely issues of concern to our industry such as: federal and provincial programs; environmental issues, farm and equipment safety, phytosanitary issues, potato statistics, marketing and trade, genomics, and farm labour resources.
