Our Vision
A central element of the strategic plan is a vision for PNB and the industry. Key features of this vision include the formation and maintenance of Partnerships, alliances and a spirit of collaboration to ensure industry growth. 

New Brunswick’s potato industry is composed of a unique “cluster” of potato technology. This cluster has resulted in our industry becoming an innovator and leader in the growing of a quality product. In this context, our industry cooperation is a valuable source, for market and production technology information. Furthermore, PNB is adept at recognizing and reacting to new and emerging market and consumer trends. This ability leads to increasing demand in potato products therefore ensuring a healthy potato industry in New Brunswick.

PNB's ability to fulfill its mandate focuses on seven critical areas. These include:

	Ensuring efficient and effective management and operations of PNB;
	Marketing and promotion of New Brunswick's potato industry as industry leaders;
	Providing growers with relevant and timely services;
	Maintenance of ongoing communications with all industry partners;
	Ensuring ongoing planning & development of PNB, the potato market and potato product;
	Advocating on behalf of growers;
	Representing growers in contract negotiations with potato processors.

PNB's strategic plan was conceived as a document in need of continuous renewal. PNB's Board members and Executive Director have committed themselves to do so. Several of these priorities and Strategic Objectives are under way.
